Join fellow SME manufacturers for a focused, collaborative workshop designed to help shape a new UK Industrial Strategy built around the realities of small and medium-sized manufacturers.

This session forms part of a nationwide initiative to gather insight from 500 manufacturing businesses, ensuring that SME and supply-chain perspectives are clearly represented when recommendations are presented to policymakers in early 2026.

Building on our ongoing SME Manufacturing Policy Survey, the workshop will share emerging insights gathered from manufacturers across the UK and provide a structured environment for participants to explore priorities, identify gaps, and develop practical recommendations that an SME-led Industrial Strategy must address.

Please note: Attendance at this workshop is open only to business leaders who have completed the SME Manufacturing Policy Survey.

10:00am – Facilitated group activities (tables of 8–10), focused on key industrial policy themes

About the Survey

The SME Manufacturing Policy Survey is a short, confidential survey being conducted by Made in Group, the membership organisation championing British industry. It captures the views of privately owned UK manufacturers on the current and future UK Industrial Strategy.

Insights from the survey are informing a series of regional workshops, including this session, and will feed directly into a pilot report for MPs.
